In principal, using specially constructed fluidized beds and a proprietary
media and gas mixture, the heated part is diffused with elements of Nitrogen
Carbon, and whatever other element/s that are used for the reactive process. Some type elements could be Chromium, Titanium, etc...

The net effect is a diffused treatment that mimics the characteristics of PVD
CrC or other coating while providing the needed adhesion and substrate structure.
