Jerry for US President???

watch this video and see.

Jerald (Jerry) Skoff - President

Jerry has been with the company since it was started in 1983. He has seen it grow from a company doing business in Southern Wisconsin to one that has customers for end users of die castings in almost every state in the US. Badger's customer base now goes beyond our northern border into Canada and Quebec. Jerry continuously has his fingers and mind on the pulse of the company and industries to assure that Badger is keeping up with current technologies, but he still enjoys selling so don't be surprised if he calls you from time to time. His main love, beyond his family, golf, movies, and photography, is trouble shooting the Windows 2000 and XP operating systems. He has built quite a collection of tips and tricks that he maintains in a database. So call him if you are having problems with your computer.  He makes sure that some of his tips are included in Badger's quarterly newsletter.

He loves to fix things that break, including die casting dies. On rainy days or late in the night you can find the "wombat" on his Pentium Dual Core downloading purchasing or learning new software or technology to later integrate into the business.

His movie database that goes back to 1989 is updated monthly and only rates movies that he and his wife Laura actually saw at a theater.

Marvelle Chapman - Office Manager

Marvelle started with the company in January 1984 and is the oil that keeps all the gears running smoothly on a daily basis. Her responsibilities along with keeping everyone else organized and on schedule include managing order entry, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and customer relations. Over the years she has also come to be quite a computer guru. She is always going somewhere either with her family, friends or spending time spoiling her 4 grand children.  Her dog's name is Bailey which she brings in from time to time to guard the Badger premises.
Paul Bartelak - Sales Manager

Paul came to Badger Metal with 15 years experience for inside sales, marketing, and customer service. Our customers affectionately call him the "Badger Bulldog" because he will never let you forget to send your tooling to us for processing. In addition to keeping close customer contact, from the time tooling arrives until it ships, Paul keeps vigilant attention on all aspects of service and satisfaction to assure that our customers get their product processed correctly and in a timely fashion while meeting customer delivery requirements. He is an avid golfer and will not miss an opportunity to play if the temperature nudges above 45 degrees.
Doug - Korol - Warehouse and Shipping Manager

Doug started in November 2003.  Mike Newlin, our previous employee, was involved in a serious hit and run accident while he was walking on the side of a highway.  The accident was so serious that Mike had to had his right leg amputated.

Doug is married and has 3 children (2 boys and 1 girl).  He has a passion for golf and justifiably so since he carries a 8 handicap.  Deer hunting is another interest so it is hard to find him when deer hunting season opens.

Ron Karani - former Vice President

Ron was the former Vice President until August 1, 2008.  He holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Massachusetts specializing in structural steel analysis, fluid dynamics, and hydraulics.  His experience with structural steel analysis spans identical modes of failure that are experienced in die cast and perishable tooling failure including: cavitation effect, erosion, and steel fatigue.
He has 8 years experience in these fields with International Harvester and many years of experience with equipment and joint research programs with Caterpillar solving cavitation and impact related fatigue problems.

He founded NPK Construction Equipment Company in Cleveland, OH and after 10 years sold the business to temporarily retire to his main hobby of golf at Mrytle Beach.

When not solving business related technical problems, he likes going to the movies and tinkering with rebuilding and repairing automobiles

On October 25, 2003 at about 6:30PM, Mike Newlin was hit while walking by a drunken driver.  The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's David Doege did a story on this unfortunate circumstance.  As of November 17, Mike remains in the hospital and has undergone 12 operations along with having his right leg above the knee amputated.  He still needs another 4-5 more.  He's suffers from diabetes which only complicates matters.  Our prayers are with him for a speedy recovery.
