The topography of the MetaLL ifeÒ creates micro pockets for trapping and holding lubricant on the
draw form or blanking die and punch surface of the tool. The process also adds a lubricity factor to the
dies surface to make it more slippery. This along with the increased surface area caused by the non-linear surface provides a more effective foundation for the applied lubricant retention and
piece part release. |
